Steve brings more than 40 years’ experience to the Skylight Aviation team, gained in a variety of commercial and revenue accounting roles. He has held key positions in several airline start-up projects, and is a business transformation specialist, focusing on the expansion of distribution and payment strategies.

After spending the initial years of his career at British Caledonian, where he held roles in both revenue accounting and commercial systems training, he embarked on a consulting path, providing business and training support to a range of airlines and related organisations. This included working closely with IATA in the design and delivery of their initial revenue accounting training programme.

In more recent times Steve has worked on delivering value led projects with airlines such as Dutch low cost carrier, transavia, where he implemented their interline and e-ticketing programme, and the Congolese national airline EC Air, where he led a review of their revenue accounting processes. He also delivered the commercial system strategy at Saudi Arabian start-up, flyadeal, and worked with Kuwait Airways in a review of their distribution landscape and GDS relationships.
